There are now even more educational opportunities for those looking to start or change career in the area.

Stockport College Principal and CEO Simon Andrews has hailed the college’s unprecedented offering of a range of diverse alternative routes into work with a raft of vocational qualifications.

He also pointed to the college’s work with the local business community.
“This year we have witnessed the accelerated growth of partnerships and collaborative work with local organisations, as well as a variety of individual student successes.” He said.

Results include 324 students achieving distinction grades in vocational subjects.

Successes

“We have truly exceeded ourselves, from gaining national achievements in our sporting academy to the accomplishments of students competing and challenging local institutions in Brickwork, Engineering and Plastering.” He explained.
Andrews extended an open invitation to anyone interested in courses at the college:
“If you want to learn the skills for a particular occupation or redefine your education, come visit us and talk to our experts who will be able to offer advice and guidance to support your ambitions and determination for success.”
