Gatley Open Gardens is giving people a chance to look at what grows in some of our neighbourhood gardens.
They will also have the chance to purchase plants, enjoy refreshments and music and browse through bric-a-brac to raise money for The Christie Hospital.
This is the fourth time local residents in Gatley have opened their gardens to the public for charity, as part of the independent Gatley Open Gardens event.
From about 200 visitors in the first year in 2013, numbers have continued to grow as has the amount of money collected.
So far, over £13,000 has been raised and has been used for a specific project at The Christie: a Hybrid Diagnostic CT and Gamma Camera.
This year, 12 gardens will be open around Gatley ranging from the grounds of Gatley Hall to the many plots of Gatley Hill Allotments.
The gardens will be open from 11am to 5pm, and admission to all the gardens is by purchasing a programme costing £5 per person, with free entrance for accompanied children.
Programmes can be bought in advance from either A & I or Armenique in Gatley village, or can be purchased on the day from any of the gardens such as 4, Alcester Road; 8 Delamere Road; Gatley Hall, 13, Old Hall Road etc.
