Gatley's St James' Church Features England's World Cup Win

A GATLEY church is set to relive the moment hat trick hero Geoff Hurst clinched the extra time World Cup victory for England over Germany at Wembley in 1966.

The game will form part of St James’ Church summer fair, on Saturday, June 14, from 2pm.

The event in the church hall on Gatley Green, will include tombola, whack a rat, a penalty shoot out, games and a variety of stalls.

Refreshments will be available with waiters serving up strawberry cream teas.
