Gang ‘Use Child’ To Burgle Heald Green Home

Police are hunting a gang believed to have used a child to help burgle a home after thieves got away with a £25,000 VW car.
Three men were seen giving a leg up to a smaller male so he could crawl through a little window at a home on Neal Avenue, Heald Green. Once inside, he opened a larger window to allow the rest of the gang access to the property.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the break-in, which happened at 3.20am.
Inspector Neil Cook, from the west area neighbourhood police, said: “The smaller one was most likely to be a teenager.”
On the same day – between midnight and 5am – a porch was forced open on Radnormere Drive, Cheadle Hulme , and a waterproof coat stolen.
