Did Your Child Win the Fancy Dress Competition at Alice in Wonderland play at Bramall Hall?

IF your child is called Jake or Eloise the organiser’s of a fancy dress competition want to hear from you.

The Stockport Council run Bramall Hall hosted an open air performance, by the Cambridge Touring Theatre Company of ‘Alice in Wonderland – The Musical’,  on Sunday, June 8 before the weather became inclement and before they had announced the winners of the fancy dress competition

More than 400 people attended the event enjoying a sunny afternoon on the croquet lawn, with many dressed in Alice style costumes for the competition before the weather took over.

A council official explained: “Unfortunately, in the last few minutes of the show, the weather took a turn for the worse bringing the event to an abrupt end.

“It was therefore not possible to announce the winners of the best costume competition, but the council is keen to find the winners to present them with their prizes.

“The winners are a young boy we believe was called Jake who was dressed in a White Rabbit costume and Eloise who had come as Alice accompanied by her mum dressed as the Queen of Hearts.

“If this is you, or you know who they are please contact the Council’s Museums Services at culturalevents@stockport.gov.uk or call 0161 474 2386.”
