For one day only, Cheadle’s 6 will become Cheadle’s 7, as the Manchester Round Table and Cheadle and Gatley Ladies Circle invite you to join their Big Charity Pub on Saturday 22 September 2018 at the Cheadle Drill Hall (Brook Road, Cheadle SK8 1PQ) to raise funds for the Seashell Trust and the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital.

The Big Charity Pub will be selling a selection of ales, beers, wines, gins, spirits, soft drinks and snacks, and will be open from 12 – 9pm; children will be welcome up to 6pm.  For the trivia enthusiasts, there will be a quiz at 7.30pm.

Ahead of the event, Marc Chaggar, Chair of Manchester Round Table, said, “Having supported a number of local charities for over 20 years with the annual Cheadle’s Big Bang fireworks display, Manchester Round Table is delighted to be back and working in conjunction with the Cheadle and Gatley Ladies Circle to put together the Big Charity Pub.  We are proud to be raising funds for the Seashell Trust and the important work that they do to support children and young people with complex learning disabilities, and hope that as many people as possible join us at the Drill Hall on 22 September.”

Sally Whiteley, Chair of the Cheadle and Gatley Ladies Circle, said, “Cheadle and Gatley Ladies Circle is proud of its links within the local community, having supported the Gatley Festival for many years,  so when the opportunity arose to hold an event for the community in Cheadle, we jumped at the chance.  Every year, our Chair chooses a charity to fundraise for, and this year my chosen charity is the Manchester Royal Eye Hospital, which is close to my heart as both of my sons have a rare genetic eye condition.  The hospital does amazing work in its research and is leading the way with new diagnostic technology, which will no doubt benefit generations to come.  I hope you will join me for a gin or two on 22 September, and I look forward to meeting you.”

Manchester Round Table and Cheadle and Gatley Ladies Circle are part of the Round Table 4 Club family within Great Britain and Ireland, aimed at making new friends, socialising and fundraising.
