Bramhall Pub Crawl Aims to Raise Cash for Cancer Charity

A pub crawl is being organised to raise money for a cancer charity.

Ian Hooper will be leading the fundraising pub crawl from Cheadle Hulme, taking in various hostelries before reaching its destination in Bramhall.

Ian suffered a seizure last year and following a number of scans and tests he was diagnosed with a Brain Tumour. He had surgery on 8th March 2017 followed by Radiotherapy.

His current chemotherapy treatment means he can’t drink alcohol – but he is allowed during breaks in his treatment.

Ian’s plan is to have a Pub Crawl during each break to have fun and raise money for The Brain Tumour Charity  and wants people to join him, bring the family and support his cause.

You can take part on Saturday 23rd September 2017 from 2pm – 9pm, starting at The Chiverton Tap, Mellor Rd, Cheadle Hulme and finishing in the The Mounting Stone, Woodford Rd, Bramhall.
