Bramhall High School has once again enjoyed great success at the annual Clothes Show Awards.
Student Heather Sprowson received a special award along with two other pupils – Milly Paveley and Chloe Clayton – who joined her as finalists in the prestigious nationwide fashion competition.
The Clothes Show Creative awards provide would-be designers with a number of challenges helping to showcase talent in art, design, photography and journalism.
Heather received a special commendation in the Young Artist of the year category open to thousands of students nationwide aged 13-16 years.
It is the fifth time in five years that students from Bramhall High have made the finals of the competition which is entered by schools, colleges and universities across the UK.
Headteacher, Lynne Fox, said: “I am amazed and delighted at how well students from Bramhall High School do every year. It is absolutely unprecedented to have three finalists, out of ten, in this national competition. This must be attributed to the hard work of staff in regards to motivating and enthusing our students to showcase and develop their talent! Of course it is ultimately the commitment of the individual students that earned them their place in the final. I am so proud of these three finalists!”
